Im pleased to announce the mobile version of iPad-Review is now available from the App Store so your now able to keep up to date with iPad news and reviews from the website. Currently the website is formatted to be useable on the iPad so this app is not really needed on your iPad, but I do intend on releasing an iPad version at a later date.

The App is of course FREE and available now!

Great news on my iphone app, it’s been accepted and is currently being propagated across the iTunes stores! Super pleased!

Will update my www.iPad-Review.co.uk site once it’s out in the wild!

As suspected my iPhone app – iPad-Review has been rejected by Apple. My own fault as I didn’t follow the guidelines that Apple stipulate as I used a copyrighted Apple trademark in the title… doh.
I’ve just made some amendments and repackaged the app, it’s currently awaiting it’s 2nd review. Hopefully this will be the final time!
Fingers crossed!

Today I finished packaging up my first Apple iPhone application and submitted it for review to Apple, Im not sure if it will get apporved on the first review as I’ve missed out a few little things. I just wanted to test the water in case there are some bigger issues in it!
The App is a news aggregator for my www.ipad-review.co.uk site, designed for the iphone so people can catch up on iPad news on the move. I intend to release an iPad version soon also, but I have designed the www.ipad-review.co.uk site to be iPad friendly in the mean time.
The app will be free to download but does contain some mobile ads in an attempt to gain some revenue, but the main objective is to drive traffic to the main web site.
I’ll drop another update soon on how the approval process is going!

I hate it when a website of mine slips into disrepair, I feel guilty that it’s not reaching it’s potential and any visitors will hit my site and go ‘Urrrghh’ and quickly exit.
This morning I decided to have a tidy up of my http://lovemanbags.com/ website, add some automatic posting, change the look and layout and remove the rubbish. Fingers crossed my cron job is configured correctly, will find out in the morning!!
The site now seems more pleasing to the eye and hopefully my visitors will also agree!
So, if your looking for a Man Bag then http://lovemanbags.com/ is a great place to start!

Decided to freshen up my Blogging tools on my Macs, MarsEdit 3 has recently been released and Im currently trialling a 30 day demo. I had looked at MarsEdit when I first purchased a Mac however I was put off by it being HTML based – ie no WYSIWYG (Rich Text) type of UI. This was the main reason I ended up spending my hard earned cash on Blogo.
MarsEdit seems to offer more control over your blogging so Im looking forward to the next 30 days to see if it matches my needs better than Blogo.
You can download a 30 day trial from Red-Sweater.

Just wanted to share this cool site that has put all the World Cup 2010 dates online so you can import them into your calendar software nice and easily, be that Outlook, iCal or Google Calendar.

It was with some excitement I installed the Steam client onto my iMac yesterday, mainly as you can download the excellent Portal for the next 2 weeks for free. In my PC days I’ve owned a number of Steam purchased games and Im looking forward to them becoming available on my iMac over the coming weeks. HalfLife 2 on my 27″ screen should look superb! However….. Valve and the Steam client really annoyed me with it’s installation process, it was like a throw back to my old PC days…. it authorised Steam to run at startup which I found very annoying especially as on my first restart it was stuck on verifying steam installation for ages!
So a quick dig around my system preferences and deleting it from my startups fixed the issue.
Oh, Portal is really cool! Well worth a free download!!
Took delivery of a protective case for my iPad, and call me cheap…. £9.95 inc postage from eBay!
I’ve reviewed it over at my iPad blog – iPad-Review.co.uk
