My Mac blogging client showdown!
First, the contenders!
Blogo.
The whole look and feel of Blogo is different to anything I’ve tried before. It’s a very clean interface and intuitive to use. I really like the preview and the ability to work completely offline and still see an accurate preview of your blog. I also love the full screen mode that cuts out any distractions! Simple, but clever!
ecto
Next to try was ecto, this appeared to be a more indepth experience, but at the price of simplicity. I very quickly became overwhelmed by the number of windows I had open. It does seem to offer more than Blogo, but Im not sure if I need all of those features.

This appears to be something between Blogo and ecto to me. It’s less confusing than ecto on first looks. I like the live Preview however it’s a shame that I couldn’t import my blogs settings like blogo to see it. When inserting a picture into the blog you first have to upload it which Im not sure is necessary.
So, after 10 minutes with all of them… I ended up creating this post with Blogo! Will see out my trial period but I think this will be the one I will ultimately be using.
